The holiday cottages have stunning views of the surrounding mountains of Snowdonia, and have a garden and extensive play area. After a day spent exploring this beautiful part of Snowdonia, you can relax on the patio with a drink or meal, and take in the views of the surrounding mountains and forests.

Activities to be enjoyed include walking and climbing in Snowdonia, and mountain biking at the world renowned Coed Y Brenin mountain bike centre (cycle storage is available at the cottage). There are also other activities available including horse riding and watersports including whitewater rafting and canoeing. Birdwatchers can visit the local RSPB reserve at the Mawddach Estuary.

There are a number of shops in the town of Dolgellau and 3 supermarkets, Somerfield, Co-op and Spar. There is a butcher and fruit shop in the square and a bakery and deli. There is a W.I market in the Free Library on a Thursday morning starting at 9.30. There are plenty of places to eat in Dolgellau with prices to suit all pockets.
